Master Auto Locksmith visited a customer who had lost his car keys for a Hyundai IX35, in Widley PO7, Hampshire. It was an emergency assistance call out because the owner of the Hyundai was a nurse working at the local Q/A – Queen Alexandra Hospital and needed to get to work for a late shift. We had a short time to work. It was possible in this case to order the key code for the Hyundai and cut the keys prior to visiting the vehicle.

It was possible to use a high quality, programmable car remote fob for the Hyundai IX35, meaning that the genuine key did not need to be ordered. The Programmable keys are high quality items which often out-last the original items. Whilst waiting for the customer’s key number to arrive from the dealer, the vehicle remote logic was programmed to the remotes, ready for programming into the vehicle with freshly cut keys, cut from the dealer’s key number.

Once the Hyundai dealer key number arrived for the IX35, the keys were cut, fitted to the remote and we promptly visited the customer. The keys operated the door lock and ignition. Master Auto Locksmith used a professional key programmer to access the immobiliser and read the immobiliser pin code. Once this was complete, the two new remote keys were programmed into the Hyundai. The customer was back on the road and was able to use his IX35 to get to work.
